Camp Fig Tree

• The scope of work: The internationally renowned lodge required additional central facilities such as visitor’s reception area, expansion of the dining hall and lounge as well as additional luxury accommodation suites. The site is nestled atop the Zuurburg mountains and the design interventions needed to engage and reinforce the spectacular views.
• Interesting facts: Camp Figtree is a remote private game reserve in the heart of the Eastern Cape Wilderness. The buildings are made of light steel frame structure clad in corrugated iron in the old colonial style.
